Airtrike 500 Paramotor
30.4k Hyattorama
6.3 years ago
Okay, so to finish this build, I just added a few small details, I fixed the tail exploding problem, I increased the roll rate and (hopefully) increased stability, and changed the paint. I think it actually flies pretty well, all things considered.
Flight controls standard.
Ag1- gyro (unnecessary and basically useless) actually, I should have taken this out, you really don’t want to use it I promise.
Thank you so much to everyone who tried this thing out and gave me feedback :)
Happy flying! Or crashing, whatever the case may be...

Ever considered making a normal paramotor?
@Hyattorama No problerm😉
Thanks man!! And thanks for the upvotes :) @lllKenlll
Genius!
Oh gotcha. Yeah that is most definitely very annoying. Makes you want to pull your hair out sometimes... @XjayIndustrys
Just when someone spends a very long time in the designer and takes it for a test flight and there’s an problem that makes the plane unstable (like it automatically rolls or pitches down by itself or pieces of the custom LG don’t attach together lol) it’s really annoying. It’s not overly important just enough to be annoying lol :)
I don’t understand what you’re talking about buddy @XjayIndustrys
But the when u r done u still haven’t finished the auto roll or pitch issue or LG related stuff
|-|
@XjayIndustrys Yeah you definitely have the patience the I lack, to keep working on a build until it's just right.
Thank you, I guess it is I have spent way toooooolooooonnnngggg tweaking the randomest things
Haha come on man don’t sell yourself short you’re a great builder! That BCD plane is fantastic! @XjayIndustrys
I must be doing a real good job of pretending to look like I know what I’m doing then
I just try to apply IRL physics to a game with random success
Yeah it definitely seems like you know what you’re doing!@XjayIndustrys
I’ve had very little experience with CAD or 3D modelling and SP is still a bit confusing sometimes but not very much anymore because I have learnt a lot from books and stuff
Yeah for sure. I had a little experience with 3D modeling previously, and when I first started with SP I thought it was fairly simple, but then again, I’ve been playing for a few months now and I’m still learning stuff all the time. So I could certainly see how someone without much computer skill could take one look at the builder and be like wwwwwtf??? @XjayIndustrys
Well mine is with no mods
For me and probably you the builder seems very simplified but to someone starting off it is overwhelming (according to my friends anyway)
Haha well thank you. Yeah, I guess I can see why they didn’t make the builder more complicated; maybe it would be sorta intimidating to someone just starting out. Especially someone without much computer skill, or without any kind of 3D modeling experience... not that this is autoCAD or anything, but still. It would be cool if they had multiple builders for players of different experience levels. But that sounds like more development and I have no idea what kind of resources Jundroo has available. I’m sure plenty of smarter people than me have thought through all of this before haha. @XjayIndustrys
Like a gold or platinum skill vs bronze or silver players skills
Possibly but I was thinking the advanced skills vs a new player
Your pretty good
Yeah like a beginner mode and advanced mode or something? @XjayIndustrys
I agree completely and I think that there needs to be a difference between players
Ah right yeah that makes sense. What I don’t understand is why they designed it so you have to slide the bar to rotate. It’s so much more unwieldy and less accurate than the setup they have for the nudge. Why didn’t they make it so you could type in the value for the deg* of rotation you want!??!? Sheesh. I guess maybe cause it’s less intuitive for beginners? But that’s debatable, and I still think it was a bad call on the devs’ part... no offense to them or anything, I really love this game. If you could call it a game, cause it’s much more than that. @XjayIndustrys
Idk cause I haven’t played PC for a long time but on IOS if u turn the sensitivity down to a specific % (can’t remember exactly) when you slide the bar to full it is exactly 45*
Awesome, thank you! :) @Smach3
