Henkel He-280 a1
18.9k DEUTSCH
The Heinkel He 280 was the world's first jet fighter.[1] It was inspired by Ernst Heinkel's work on the Heinkel He 178 prototype aircraft.[2] A set of technical and political factors meant that it did not enter production, giving way to the Messerschmitt Me 262. Only nine units were built and none were used operationally by the Luftwaffe.
