WM 38 Sparrow MK II
The Sparrow was the Wessier-Macmillan design bureau's most successful production model. Nathan Wessier's conservative disposition finally paid off with this front line long range fighter. Though it didn't contain any of the spectacle of their more popular designs, it combined a series of features that worked. It was small, light and maneuverable. It's straight wing design meant it had a low stalling speed and thereby also made it suitable for carrier use (though the navy never ordered the aircraft). For two years, the country felt confident they had the most advanced fighter in the world... At least until the war began. This airplane has no fancy gadgets or features. It's just a remake of the first airplane I built in simple planes.
