Boulton Paul Contumacious MkII 5.6
AG1 to shut engine bay doors
AG2 to shut U/C doors (front wheel)
AG3 to retract flaps
AG4 to drop external tanks
I suggest 50-60% throttle on takeoff for a more realistic run out, ive got the drag and power set for its top speed which leads to a seriously rampant takeoff on 100% power.
With the emergence of the DO335, the British required an equivalent to act as a long range heavy night fighter / interdictor. Boulton Paul won the contract with the Contumacious and building on their experience with the Defiant they built a plane which had a rear defensive/offensive turret but with the addition of wing mounted cannon. It utilised 2 RR Merlin engines powering counter rotating propellors which gave excellent speed and accelleration. It had an unusual undecarriage arrangement which evolved from reducing the length of the nose and thus the standard 3 wheel (nose wheel) arrangement became un-feasible due to balance point but the new 4 wheel arrangement made prop strikes very unlikely and allowed for increased braking power on landing.
It does take a while to load (sorry again, ill have to figure out when the load time happened to source the problem)
Ive named it due to the constant annoying things that kept happening during the build, fix one thing another pops up, its taken ages to build as i kept getting annoyed with it.... hence the other releases in the mean time.
This was build number 4 on my forum post

@8bitgamer33 mhm, so do real ww2 aircraft as the hydraulic pressure is greater in one side.
The right main gear leg retracts slower than the left one.
beast
@Rambojutter , Load time in the a new 1.8 Beta is about 25 seconds on my phone
@Rambojutter, I was looking for the reasons for the load time, here's what I found.
It isn't the cammo
it isn't the engine detail
it isn't the opening panels
I removed about 350 parts but it still takes a moment....
HERE
No problem @RamboJutter
@Spitfirelad05 there is a 2 seat trainer of the do335, and in my opinion that's always been the better looking version, hence the layout of this
@RamboJutter , you're welcome, it's my pleasure .
@Type2volkswagen @Spitfirelad05 @XjayIndustrys thanks for the support and comments, much appreciated
@Trainzo @Carbonfox1 @horatio thanks again for your support and xomments
@RamboJutter This looks like a trainer version of a DO-335. Nice work.
cool, wow, amazing, beautiful
runs just fine on my Galaxy 9S
I beg to differ on that statement your mobile versions have been successful with me@RamboJutter
Its like a british split tail arrow, love it
Nice plane . Great job an fully detailed .
@LOWEWAYY 2 full detail engines, hollow fuselage parts, camo, hollow wing etc etc.
@RamboJutter soo can you explain why it have hight part?
@LOWEWAYY sorry but no. I've made mobile versions of things in the past and they just are not successful.
Maybe mobile friendly version?
