One of the only Aircraft to come from Ryclia in the early 2000's, the RSSOU-2 Usignolo (Translated "Nightingale") is a all-purpose Multirole aircraft capable of both ground strike missions and air superiority roles. The Usignolo initially was developed as an experimental testbed for new electronics and weaponries. The initial flight of the RSSOU-2 occured in 1998 to test the capabilities of forward swept wings and dual placed elevators and was never meant to become a fully fledged fighter, however as tensions rose between Ryclian's allies and Hon Kain, Andosnia, and Ourusenda, the Ryclian ministry of defense ordered the RSSOU-2 to be converted into a combat ready aircraft in 2014 - merely months after the skyfall of the 1993MDX0204 asteroid,

This variation of the RSSOU-2 is the special weapons testbed (RSSOU-2x) - noted with its brilliant white and orange colorations. The weapons held on this variation are two weaponized Chemical oxygen iodine lasers (COIL) modified to have the laser in a visible light spectrum of blue, weakening its full potential, but was done so for its public debut of the RSSOU-2x and its weaponry.
