The MQ-4 ShiniGami is a Multirole Unmanned Combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) designed for the Shinsei Air force to support ground and naval units.

Description

Designed in the early 2010s, The MQ-4 while considered multirole drone, has a strong emphasis on a Hunter Killer role. As it namesake implies , a Shinigami (Grim reaper) hunts for souls, as would this Drone hunt for enemy targets, including Tanks, Fortifications and High value targets. It's secondary function is that of a Reconissance role, capable of loitering on station for extended periods to conduct surveillance on enemy troop movement at a high altitude to avoid enemy fire.
Powered by a single high bypass Turbojet engine mounted at the rear, along with it's advanced , wide wing design, allows it to sustain lift with a top speed of over 500Km/H
It's operational capability allows the Shinigami to respond to engagements quickly from it's patrol course or base of operations, utilizing it's extensive armaments of 4 GBU laser guided bombs and 4 lightweight anti Surface missiles

Capable of pinpointing and designating targets is the use of a large, 3-axis Stabilized, dual optical targeting pod/built in laser designator. A second high definition Optical Camera is mounted on the front dome used for Navigation.
