Hit 1 to activate the activators on the canards. This gives more maneuverability, and keep in mind the main guns are mounted on them so by hitting 1 they become maneuverable as well.
The Lightweight Attack Fighter is an optionally manned, multirole fighter aircraft. It was created by Northrop Grumman in 2040, post WW3. Due to limited resources, the price of missiles made them vitually unusable, leading to a focus back to guns on the LAF 1. These guns allow it to perform CAS, it's high maneuverability allows it to be a capable dogfighter, and it's guns are so powerful they effectively replace pricey bombs, a requirement in it's design. Skyrocketing oil prices post WW3 caused the aircraft to use a prop, but due to innovations it can sustain a relatively high speed, and does all this while remaining stealthy from all aspects.
