P-51 D Mustang Red Tails (Replica)
What happens if you combine the best engine for aircraft with the best possible cell? Create something that does what it can do a Spitfire, but does it for 8 hours continuously. This happened when they put the Merlin engine in the Mustang cell, with a razor-sharp profile wing that forced to put fuel in the fuselage.
D version, with a teardrop canopy, was elegant and very effective. The color represented here is that of the Red Tails, "the Tuskegee boys", color drivers for the horrendous racial laws in force at the time were forced to fight in separate departments.
----------
The model is more or less correct, but some things (like the under belly air intake) are very hard to reproduce.
For taking off keep pulling up, to avoid to hit ground with prop.
The engine is XML edited to reach 1500 HP like original one. The model flies well for a replica.

very good, now I'll shoot some Japanese planes
@Baldovino Wow no comment man! Love this fighter! Since I saw the movie Red Tails when I was 7 i'm in love with this Plane - why don't you check my creations too? I've made a replica of the Vought F4U Corsair, it's not so good, but it's always a good start!
@salvador3031
