This is my very first ornithopter, and the first in simpleplanes with an automatic flapping mechanisim. it does not use fuel, and is technically a glider. before you throttle up, detach 2. do not flap on a runway. to take off from a runway, activate 1 to use the rocket takeoff boosters.
