Background information on the Peregrine

Introduction
Before going into the features of this aircraft, I would first like to thank its creator, @Synthex4060, who uploaded the original version of this machine about 5 years ago. Over time, I have upgraded and updated the Mk.1 Peregrine design to do all sorts of different things. I probably have about 30 different variants of this plane. This version is my new VR compatible edition. I will include a link to the original craft in the comments section if you're interested.

Features

Variable Sweep Wings

The Peregrine is a dive bomber. Adjusting the sweep of the wings during and after the dive allows for increased stability and control when making attack runs.

VR Glass Cockpit

The Pilot's dash includes a sweep indicator for VR use.

All aircraft functions can be controlled through cockpit buttons

The Navigator's seat has a working radar console and duplicate flight controls if needed. Credit to @RoastHam9146 for this device.

The Peregrine 2022 has two crew members, and can be flown in VR from either seat.
VR Compatible Ejection Seats

Sometimes there's nothing left to do but bail out. The Peregrine 2022 has VR compatible ejection seats for both pilots, with buttons to eject located on the ejection handles of each seat. The ejection sequence can also be triggered through AG5.
Working After-Burner

A little boost goes a long way. AB can be controlled from the cockpit or triggered through AG3.

Carrier Ready

The Peregrine 2022 is carrier ready, with folding wings that make for easy storage at sea.

Catapult and arresting gear can all be controlled from within the cockpit. The arresting gear is also bound through AG1.

Target Approach Assist (TAA)
The TAA is a simple computing device that aids the pilot in approach to any given target, air or ground, friend or foe.

The vertical yellow echelons indicate the needed pitch angle correction, while the horizontal red echelons indicated the needed Heading correction. When the nose of the Peregrine is pointed at the target, the center green light will illuminate. The screen to the left displays some useful data about the target. Credit to @RoastHam9156 for the script used on this screen. The red, yellow, and green lights to the right of the TAA are used for speed adjustments when landing on a carrier. When the desired landing speed is reached, the green light will illuminate. Here are some examples of the TAA in action.

Here the TAA guides the pilot in for a landing on the USS Beast, providing relative distance, speed, and heading indications as needed.

The TAA can also be used to intercept air targets, in this case a tanker aircraft for refueling.

Lastly, the TAA can be used to guide the pilot to a target on the ground
Weapon Loadout

In Conclusion
Sorry for the long post, I am just excited to share some of my work on this aircraft. Again, all credit for the airframe goes to Synthex4060. I would like to personally thank this person for creating and posting an aircraft that has brought me a lot of fun over the past 5 years of playing SP. I hope you all can enjoy it just as much as I have.

Happy Flying!
