A drastic modification of the Orca, this design builds upon it to create a highly maneuverable fighter worthy of its own designation. Featuring forward swept wings and very large canards, this plane yields a higher turn rate than its precursor as well as short take-off capabilities, making it a perfect aircraft for carrier operations. The plane's planform is reminiscent of one of my very early designs bearing the same configuration and alias, hence the Roman numeral, and much of what I've learned from that design has gone into the development of this model.

She's a bit temperamental at low speeds yet very forgiving, the craft sports high suspension gear and a powerful airbrake for sudden carrier landings, as well as gyroscopes for stable, ultra-low speed flight. The craft doesn't seem to have any issues when performing high speed turns at 40,000+ feet, where conventional aircraft would otherwise seesaw during the maneuver.

It's worth noting that flying at low altitude beyond 1,370 miles per hour would cause the aircraft to shake, but this can be corrected by either tightly pitching upwards or slowing down.

AG-1 toggles the gyros, trim controls their pitch axis.
