!XJ-200 Wright Air 1988-1997 livery
Wright Air (branded as Wright International Airways) is the flag-carrier of the Wright Isles founded in 1963. Wright Air purchased 17 of the XJ-200 aircraft between 1965 and 1971. In 1975, Wright Air modified some planes to handle short runways as flights from community airports were getting popular. In 1980, Wright Air modified 3 XJ-200s, WI-1044 was converted into an XJ-200B, WI-2033 became a combi XJ-200 making it the only airline to operate this kind, WI-6099 became a modified XJ-200 with a larger fuel tank than the -200B, and 10% more fuel efficent. In 1988, all planes were repainted in the 1985 livery but was known as "half checkerboard". In 1990, Wright Air began phasing out the XJ-200s, many of them retired but WI-2033 and WI-6099. The last flight happened on June 11, 1995 on WI-2033 from Wright to Yeager then eventually July 12, 1997 on WI-6099 from Wright to Miami non-stop. (this livery is non-canon to Wright Air lore)
