The Flycatcher is the CRL's night fighter. Originally developed as an attempt at creating a long-range fighter capable of fighting off Roaches. In this task it soon proved itself ineffective, causing it's retirement. Newly available radar technology allowed this trimotor to find a new lease on life, as the central pod, originally intended to carry a lot of weaponry, was now free for a radar installation. However, as this entailed losing the nose guns, a triple .60 VHMG gun pack has been added to the aircraft's belly, complementing 6 .50 HMGs in the wings and 2 more added behind the new twin-seat cockpit intended at hititng bombers from below.
