Gauss Cannon Development history

Shinsei is very known for its Navy, in fact at this time (1986) Shinsei Navy was the most advanced at the time. However, time changes, as in 1992 Ruskovia has... Found out to have an interesting weapons development...

On November 7th the Liberty Bay intelligence has captured a satellite image of what seems to be A railgun or Gauss cannon type system tested on a ship, this sent every PAC (Peace Alliance Coalition (This universe version of NATO)) into a panic. Shinsei has to think fast, and with Liberty Bay orders they managed to design something they did not want to do.

In December 1994 two years after the picture was taken, the ship, RNS (Ruskovia National Ship) "Mirotvorets" was introduced to the world with their state of the art Gauss Cannon emplaced on a ship, used mainly as an anti aircraft defense. the PAC was in full panic, they need to think fast. However, not long in 1995 Shinsei unveiled their very own ship emplaced Prototype Gauss Cannon the X-7 nicknamed "Zeus". It used a strong top secret electric battery that can be used to fire the gun 100 times before either blowing up due to the gun overheating or run out of power. Remember, this weapon are still in the prototype stage and it was put on an already existing Shinsei destroyer SSS (Shinsei Security Ship) "Haro". However, Shinsei didn't make one, they created two in case there's something wrong with the first prototype.

Airframe Develop history

This particular airframe is based on the SFR-33E, a prototype aircraft in 1998 based on Ruskovia design. Designed mostly one by one from a captured Ruskovia aircraft back in 1987 the airframe seems to be promising, as it is lightweight despite it's size and the fact that it can hold a brand new type of engine the Horichi JS-600 which is planned to be finished in 1999.

Nothing peculiar is in this airframe except maybe it's dual cockpit design which house the maintenance engineer on the back and the pilot on the front. It also house an unique joystick configuration which is similar to that of an Airbus. It also house a new type of 3D Thrust Vectoring never seen before in PAC ever, in which send many PAC members into a frenzy as they think this might be the answer to Ruskovia growing threat.

However, one guy showed up to the design office in 2000, and proposed to put the anti aircraft Gauss cannon into this specific airframe as this airframe is currently the only strong enough aircraft that can lift the heavy weapons up. And this was no random man either, he was Hiroto Kanmuji, the main designer for Manji Motors. Who produced well... Everything as you have guessed including fighter jets.

This proposal however was rejected, as the government though that the idea was concerning and perhaps quite ridiculous.

The SFR-33XE Development history and the begining of another war

It's 2004, the biggest attack on Tarania history had just happened. Tarania economically, is not doing well. Liberty Bay and other PAC members try to defuse the situation, but however what has been done cannot be reversed.

Shinsei saw this from over the Taranic Ocean, concerned on what's going on there. However, this is just the begining.

Later out, Tarania has found out that the attacker WAS Shinseian. This... lead Taranian citizen angry. Many we're storming outside, waging for a war and mourning their lover death. Tarania government however, while doing bad economically, saw... An opportunity... If they wage war against Shinsei then they could've made a lot of money... It was a pretty violent and dumb response from the government in which are critiqued by PAC members (Tarania has not joined the PAC yet until 2012 the end of the war).

Shinsei was... Devastated hearing this news...

Shinsei government however, have an idea.
They call back Hiroto Kanmuji to bring his proposal back to light, Hiroto was delighted to hear this news. They wanted a fast and quick aircraft that can shot down anything and anyone out of Shinsei airspace quick without any ammunition spent, which are perfect for the X-7 as it only requires some Science fiction bullcrap to work.

Shinsei has 12 SFR-33E airframe laying around, and one of them was converted into the SFR-33XE, The Answer to pesky air vehicles in their skies. The aircraft was lard nicknamed "Endo Resu" or endless in Shinseinese.

Ace Pilot and Flight Engineer history

This specific aircraft, is piloted than no other than Shinseian best ace pilot they could ever offer, and she's not even born in Shinsei. She was actually a fled Ruskovian who reside in Shinsei.

Her name, was Laika Ditromich. She is a stoic and talkless pilot who used to pilot an Su-27 and F-104 during her time working for the SADF (Shinsei Air Defense Force). She never talks, ever. She is silent. And what's even more terrifying about her, is her flight capabilities. Laika Ditromich is one of the very few person who has wear and tested the Anti-G Suit+ allowing her to withstand the most extreme G's, this... Lead to a terrifying flight pattern as she is able to track down any aircraft in sight using the thrust vectoring system.

However, she is not alone piloting this plane. Her Flight Engineer, a Junior Engineer who happens to contributed to the X-7 and SFR-33XE Development. His name is Shinji Hikatori. He is as silent as her, only speaking when he needed to. His job at the plane is to make sure the engines and Gauss Cannon work. He's 23 years old.

You may be wondering how Shinji could've contributed to the X-7 if he wasn't even born back then right? Well, the answer is, he is the son of Sei Hikatori. The man himself, who invented, and parented, the X-7. He also happens to help build the SFR-33XE Gauss cannon system, so he's a pretty good pick for the job. However it's not without cost, he is still a young man with a future ahead of him, and he was put directly into the front lines. He however, is happy to die defending his home. Even though he's just the flight engineer.
