The GPP-910 "Lucy" was an experimental interceptor built by Graingy in 1944 to catch and kill high-speed German jet fighters and rocketplanes at high altitudes. Its two 1500 kW engines and contra-rotating propellers let it top out at 960 km/h at over 10,000 meters of altitude.
Its downside is tricky, cumbersome controls and overall poor handling.
Still, it's one of the fastest piston-engined aircraft ever built, and for the 1940s at that, so some trade offs must be made.

@TheMouse Ah. Well, I do believe I've said before that it's supposed to be like that. Graingy designers just like them.
As for the guns, they're 30mm cannons on a high-altitude, high wing loading craft. Unfortunately only so much weight is safe. You will notice, however, that despite the low fire rate (300 rpm) they hit quite hard.

No. Flaps were fine. I just hate backwards flaps, that also go above the wing. I understand the weapons things, it just seemed like a bit to few for my trigger happy self.

It's a WWII interceptor. There were no other weapons, unless you're telling me you want to use air to ground rockets against fighters?

I like it. The flaps going both ways were annoying, but it flew fairly well. Maybe next time add some weapons other than the gun tho?
