A unmanned Jet Technology Demonstrator designed as a basis for an Unmanned Aerial Combat Vehicle. However production costs were projected to be too much and an order was never placed.
The YX-260 is powered by a Pratt and Whitney F-110 engine. A variable stabilizer was also utilized in order to increase stability in level flight while maintain increased lift.
