NOW WITH realistic side gear!
This flying boat is designed to mimic a late model Grumman HU-16 that has been refit with turboprop motors. (Weights and dimensions are similar to IRL)
Group 1-3 Gear:
1 = main gear jacks
2 = gear hinge/aircraft leveling
3 = main gear motor and retraction
Group 5 is flaps.
I have had a few successful water takeoffs but it is difficult.
(best guess is the water physics are causing this problem)
