Wobbegong
Though outdated, these small dive bombers were found onboard US carriers up until the first few months of the war, for obvious reasons. However, this aircraft incorporated a bomb trapeze, which at least worked better than dropping external bombs the usual way.
This plane evolved out a torpedo bomber design I had sitting in the saves ever since the Porbeagle was being made. I converted it into a dive bomber and it also uses divebrakes, somewhat accurate guns, a bomb trapeze (that I later found out to have a wrongly interpreted mechanism), and my first custom bomb. The plane can dive bomb ok, but there is no aiming for the bomb (cause it's custom) so you have to eye it when you drop it. The guns onboard are made to be somewhat similar to the M2 AN .30 caliber guns found on many American WWII aircraft, and also has red tracers. The plane flies a little strange sometimes but it should be better without the big bomb at the bottom. Enjoy!
VTOL controls the flaps and dive brakes
AG1: Drop the big bomb, lowers trapeze
AG2:Disables dive brakes and activates turret
AG3: Drops both wing bombs
AG4: Lowers landing hook

@TurtlesThatFly nice plane by the way
@TurtlesThatFly ok my bad lolololololololol
@Memeremem don't fly into the bomb while delivering it lol
@TurtlesThatFly oh
@Memeremem Pitching down after releasing your bomb while diving might have been the cause...
When I try to dive bomb I explode 😅
@TurtlesThatFly ok
@NBTamata @FireFast212 In case both of you are wondering, a wobbegong is a type of shark. I tend to now name my American naval bombers after sharks (Like Porbeagle).
nice name
I like this warplane. The gun at the back is supportive.
Nice!
