After seeing success with its first Emb-120 regional aircraft, DARZ AIRLINES decided to enter the market with international routes, opting to choose the WINGSIRON DC-12, A Brazilian aircraft which had already been tested before and therefore had more confidence and experience, placing an initial purchase order for 20 aircraft with minor modifications.
Furthermore, the Dc-12 turned out to be an excellent option for long-range flights without many inconveniences, as it avoided the ETOPS rules by having four engines.
