Bityu’s suspension evolution

Explanation goes left to right. This is a little thing I made dedicated to the double wishbone suspension I’ve been working on for the past year. It shows some of the more major points in the development, and the breakthroughs I’ve had. Even the finished version isn’t close to the quality that I’ve seen from others, but I am very proud of this, and have learned so much from the struggles I’ve gone through to make it truly work. #1 and #2. As you can see, the first two peices shown don’t have tires, that is because they were the first peices I made, when I thought they might just work, so naive. #3. After that is when I made some changes to the design after the original didn’t work... it didn’t work either. #4. After that is basically the same thing but with some tweaking, and a larger tire. It didn’t work. In between this and the next one, I did a lot of tests, and a bunch of changes, big and small, and it finally worked out. I actually posted some of these tests. #5. This version shown is the final version of the “large suspension”, and the version used in my creation, “The Beast”. I stopped working on that suspension, as I couldn’t make it better, so I scrapped the design and started over again. #6. This is the new and improved, and much smaller design that I developed for a while until using for my creation “60’s Ford”. It felt like the beginning of a new era for my suspension, as I completely rebuilt it from the ground up. #7. This is just the same, but with some adjustments for off road. It was being built for my ORV Sport frame, before I had a major breakthrough. #8 This is my most recent breakthrough, and I feel kind of dumb about it. I had tried making the suspension taller before, but it never worked. Turns out that was because I always set the hinge rotator so that it couldn’t turn, and I never realized until this. #9. This is the same as before, but with some adjustments to the shock. It is the final version I used in my ORV Sport frame. I don’t know

    @bityu
    It's not necessary the look that matters. Although, few of the few care about handling, too.
    Quite a lineup.
