Simple Daimler Ferret Mk1
For the Cold-war era challenge, I present to you... the Daimler Ferret Mk.1!
The Daimler Ferret was a 4wd light scout/reconnaissance vehicle designed by the UK company Daimler in 1950, and was produced from 1952-1971. It was built as a successor the the Daimler Dingo, as the need for an updated scout vehicle was seen by the UK shortly after WW2. Considering the Dingo's success, Daimler was given the contract to once again fill that hole.
The Ferret was used throughout the UK, with notable usage by the Australian army. Most Ferrets were auctioned off after their service, which made their way into the hands of museums, collectors and private owners. They were even popular enought that Jay Leno got to review a Mk2, in which he says, and I quote "The hardest part about owning one of these, is convincing the wife why you need it!" (He was driving it at the time, so he had to shout due to the overall loudness of the car).

Sharing the same H-Pattern drive system as the Dingo, the Ferret boasted enhanced traction and lower ride height over most 4x4 scouts of the time. The single transfer box negated the need for a differential, allowing power to constantly reach all four wheels, while the fluid coupling and Wilson Preselector gearbox allowed for smooth and simple engagement.
To power this 3.7 ton machine, Daimler used the Rolls-Royce B.60 Inline-6 engine, producing 120-130 horsepower. This allowed the Ferret to reach a top speed of 58 mph, or 93 km/h.
The Ferret usually consisted of two crew members- the driver and a commander/gunner. The Mk1 Ferret typically had no hatch for the crew, but rather an open top (not shown for simplicity) for the gunner with limited protection. They were at least equipped with several light armaments, including a mounted machine gun, and 6 forward-facing grenade launchers. Later models (mk2) were given a proper turret, which was later further modified to equip Vigilant anti-tank missiles.
This is a simple, low part build, so controls aren't too heavy.
Pitch and Yaw to drive
1-3 for lights
Ground- "Grenade Launcher"
Features correct weight, suspension design, and fuel capacity.
I may rebuild this one day, as a not-so-simple VR replica.
Enjoy!

@Rymanx03 no problem! Glad you had fun!
@Christiant2 Man, if I knew you were going to score on combat, I definitely would've added the machine gun to it...
But, it's a good score, and it was a fun build, so thanks for the challenge!
Ill try as soon as possible.
