The B.A.F 45 was a Bastinian Fighter Jet adopted in 1945 to replace the ealier B.A.F 40. Whilst the B.A.F 40 had proven to be a good design, the Design Bureau wanted a design that would handle better and that could compete with other existing planes from the era. The Jet was designed by Henry Dunst and manufactured by Aerolancer. The Jet was retired in 1962, being replaced by the Meikono designed B.A.F 62.
