Cutlass Air Corp. MB Model 1
History: In the late 20s and early 30s it was decided that a new modern bomber was needed. Not knowing what was required for a modern bomber, the specifications were pretty leniant, must carry at least 2000 lbs of bombs, be made mostly of metal, and be capable of reaching 200mph. Cutlass was able to fill all those requests, although barely, as the max load is right at 2000 lbs, and it barely goes over 200mph in flight, but it is made of metal, except the fabric covered control surfaces. It would also boast a crew of six, the Pilot and Co-Pilot that fly the aircraft, the Engineer who manages the aircraft and also mans the top turret, the Bombadier who aims the bombs and mans the nose gun, the Radioman who mans the tail guns, and the Navigator. The aircraft was innovative for it’s accessable Bomb Bay, defensive turret, and overall layout. Unfortunatly it would be replaced pretty quick do to the lack of defensive fire power below and on the sides, but would find a new lease as a low level torpedo bomber before complete removal.
