During last year's team building day, JAI's mechanics challenged the engineers for a car race. The mechanics' Fabulous Scrap Racer beat the snot out of the engineers' hot rods and sports cars.
For this year's team building day, the engineers made an official JAI racing project and built this car to challenge the Fabulous Scrap Racer.
During the manufacturing of the racer, accounting dept asked why would a car require several square meters of wings. The engineers' answer was: "for the downforce, duh". The name stuck.
Some race results: Airstrip Drag 41 secs, Gold Prix 35 secs and Motor Mirage 42 secs.
Pitch for throttle, Roll for steering.
