T-28 - three-tower Soviet medium tank of the interwar period. Developed in 1930-1932. Engineers of the tank tractor design bureau. A. Ginzburg. T-28 is the first medium tank in the USSR, launched into mass production. In the period from 1933 to 1940, 503 copies of the T-28 were produced by the Leningrad Kirov Plant
The T-28 was a three-turret medium tank with a classic layout, with cannon-machine gun weapons and bulletproof armor, and was intended to support infantry and provide high-quality reinforcement of rifle and tank formations when breaking through enemy fortified positions.
