The FA-20 A was created. A quick and easy to install upgrade and modify from the first ground attack variants. Often taking only 2 hours to add the new front elevators and updated radar and sensor arrays. The first upgraded batch was quickly scrambled and delivered straight to action. Success was achieved and now serves as a heavy fighter/ aerial combat trainer in most task force regiments
