Heavy Destroyer for Fortis,

HMS Bryne is a ship that harkens back to a bygone era, having been built by the Maywar Shipbuilding Company on Maywar Island during the reign of the previous government of Fortis, suddenly, the neighboring nations Berralind and Staneland declared war on Fortis, and the fate of the Bryne hung in the balance. Initially intended to be scuttled, the onset of conflict forced the government to rethink their plans, and they made several modifications to the ship so it could remain in service.

Interestingly, the Bryne owes its name to a powerful figure in the Fortis Navy, Admiral Baroness Bryne Lydiel. During the Bandit War, she successfully united the entire Fortis Island, earning the admiration and respect of all who knew her. As such, it was fitting that this grand ship would bear her name and honor her legacy.
