[CLOSED] [PU] Solo Strike Fighter Program
Information + Requirements
In the 1960s, observing the limitations of propeller aircraft during the Continental War in air combat roles over time, the PRAF issued requirements for a strike aircraft. These requirements entailed a long range and a low-speed maneuverability. It should also be capable of carrying enough ordnance options to singlehandedly disable any sort of enemy ground target at any time. A few Phoenixian design companies have provided engines at least one of which the design must use.
Springer Saber T14
A supposedly turboprop contra-rotating engine producting 5100hp total. You can change the propellers themselves.
Hagebutte Morgenwind
VTOL Engine. TU version of the real-life Rolls-Royce Pegasus.
Ubermensch TJ-52
Turbojet engine producing 50 kN of thrust. Literally just the in-game J50.
Springer TF21
Afterburning turbofan engine producing 45kN of dry thrust and 66 kN of afterburning thrust.
Notes
I wanted to make a design challenge for a strike aircraft, so here's a part set for it. This part set also includes a few miscellaneous parts my friend BoredDeffy wanted to include, but I believe you don't specifically need to use that. For any questions, just ask in the comments.
The contest lasted until June 15, 2024, but has been extended for one design committee due to promising results on their part.
Criteria
1: Flight Performance (20pts)
Low-speed (500 kph below) maneuverability (8pts)
Flight Smoothness (8pts)
Top Speed (4pts)
2: Armament (20pts)
Build armament (10pts)
Theoretical maximum payload, based on attachment points and aircraft stats (10pts)
3: Air-to-air dogfight vs Beleit C-6 for jet aircraft or Alistair F1P for propeller and mixed propulsion aircraft (simulating average fighter of the period) (10pts)
Survival time (gets 1 point for every minute of survival, total of 5pts)
Takedown of enemy aircraft (5pts)

Winner (Sorry for late post)
@Shootingstar07 's Peace Walker A-8 Spearhead (5 upvotes)
2nd and 3rd place tie: Gehirn A-18 (no awards since it's mine) and @MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 's Ac-106 Nightingale (2 upvotes)
@Mahoots who won?
@Mahoots done
@Mahoots soon yes
@STEAMYcrosby ....are you submitting something?
Super Sonic PRAF XF-84 called the PRAF XZ-2 Night Cat (Pzl-123D-200)
@BoredDeffy ye
@Mahoots you upvote 5 of their creations if I understood correctly.
@FOXHOUND26 how do i even give 5 upvotes
@Mahoots you give the 1st place gets 5 upvotes 2nd place gets 4 and 3rd place gets 3 and every submission gets 1 upvote
@FOXHOUND26 so i upvote the top 5?
@Mahoots you. you upvote 5 of their creations
@FOXHOUND26 from who? though maybe i can spotlight the winners if i can
@Mahoots I mean that the winner of the challenge gets let's say 5 upvotes
@FOXHOUND26 i mean thats for people to decide but i dont wanna consider it since the participants with more followers would naturally get more upvotes than someone with less followers and create a bias of sorts
@Mahoots no upvotes?
@FOXHOUND26 nothing significant methinks, but the top plane gets added to the lore of TU
What are the prizes

I'd like to stress that what I gave are the PRAF's roundels.
