V-22.Osprey [VR]
Just A Normal Post... All AVG's Are Complex
Controls are as follows
?AG1- Engine Start at 5% throttle?AG2- Nacelle rotation. Use throttle. VTOL back is back taxi. Nacells will tilt 5° backwards ?AG3- Flaperon flap mode. Use with ag2 ?AG4- Flaperon Roll mode?AG5-Lower Ramp. Use throttle?AG6- NAV lights. ?AG7- Fuel Probe. ?AG8- helicopter controls with Gyro. Turn off when in airplane mode
LEFT HAND
Trigger- Countermeasures
Button 1- AG2
Button 2- AG3
RIGHT HAND
Trigger- Brakes
Button 1- AG4
Button 2- Next Target
START UP
- Turn on AG5 and throttle up to raise ramp door.
- Turn off AG5
- Turn on AG1 or press Battery button located on the overhead panel
- Push Throttle Levers located on overhead panel foward
- Turn off AG1 and throttle back
Using MFD Display, or Buttons located on Thrust Lever, activate AG2 and AG3
NOTE
Using the Joystick on the left controller in the Throttle control mode allows you to control Nacell Rotation
TAXI
Using joystick on Left Controller, rotate Nacelles to a MAXIMUM of 30° or 27% throttle
WARNING
Failure to stay below 30° or 27% throttle will cause damage to rotor blades- Slowly increase collective
- Brake using Trigger on Cyclic Stick or Joystick on Left Controller
TAKEOFF
- Using Thrust Lever, slowly increase collective
- Slowly rotate Nacelles until 30° or 27% throttle.
- Retract Landing Gear using Red Lever located on Center Panel
- Slowly increase Nacelles until 45° or 50% throttle
- Turn on AG4 using MFD display or Button 1 on Cyclic Stick
- Slowly increase Nacelles to 90° or 100% Throttle
- Turn off AG2 and AG3 using Buttons on Thrust Lever or MFD display
- Set desired trim using the Gray Lever located on center panel.
NOTE
Recommended Trim is full nose up
Turn off AG8 for more maneuverability
LANDING
- Turn on AG2 and AG3 using Buttons on Thrust Lever or MFD display
- Slowly decrease Nacelles to 45° or 50% Throttle using joystick on left controller
- Turn off AG4 using MFD Display or Button 1 on Cyclic Sytick
- Turn on AG8 if turned off during flight
- Slowly decrease Nacelles to 30° or 27%
- Extend Landing Gear using Red Lever located on center panel
- Slowly decrease Nacelles to 0° or 0% throttle
CAUTION
YAW controls are tricky while Hovering.
