TMS-4000 M2A5 Aardvark (KUC) – The New Standard in Armored Combat
The decent of the TMS family is directly from the TMS-4000 M2A5

the M2A5 being the evolution of the A3 and the A1

1. General Overview

The TMS-4000 M2A5 Aardvark (KUC) is a revolutionary armored combat vehicle developed by Erusea. It combines the firepower of an MBT, the mobility of a wheeled vehicle, and the troop transport capability of an IFV. This unique concept creates an entirely new category of armored vehicles, known as the Secondary Medium Tank (TMS), providing a versatile and robust solution for modern warfare.

? Primary Role: Heavy fire support vehicle and troop transport
? Troop Capacity: 14 soldiers + 3 crew members
? Main Armament: 100 mm cannon, 10 rounds/sec reload speed, 500 mm penetration
? Protection: Composite armor + ERA + NBC protection
? Mobility: 10x10 configuration, high speed, operable even with damaged wheels

  1. Technical Specifications

🔹 Mobility and Powertrain

Chassis: 10x10 ultra-mobile, ensuring excellent traction on rough terrain

Engine: High-performance turbodiesel, optimized for heavy loads

Max Speed: ~80 km/h (road), ~55 km/h (off-road)

Damaged Wheel Performance: Can still move with up to 6 wheels destroyed

Operational Range: 650 km

🔹 Armament and Firepower

Main Cannon: 100 mm autoloader (10 rounds/sec)

Penetration: 500 mm, capable of piercing most MBTs from the side and easily destroying light/medium vehicles

Secondary Machine Guns:

1x 12.7 mm remotely operated heavy machine gun

1x 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun

Missile Options: ATGM launchers available for long-range engagements

Advanced Fire Control System: 360° stabilization, effective while moving

🔹 Protection and Survivability

Armor: Composite + ERA (protection against RPGs, light missiles)

Anti-RPG Grilles: Installed on vulnerable sections

NBC Protection: Against nuclear, biological, and chemical threats

Active Protection System (APS): Detects and intercepts incoming missiles

Crew Safety: Mine-resistant seating and reinforced armor against explosions

  1. Combat Performance

💥 Against Enemy MBTs (Heavy Tanks)

? Capable of destroying a tank from the side or rear due to its 100 mm cannon
? Superior mobility compared to MBTs, allowing it to avoid frontal engagements
? Not designed for direct head-on duels against modern MBTs

🛡 Against Asymmetric Warfare Fighters

? Excellent protection against RPGs and mines
? Large troop transport capacity for infantry deployment
? APS and ERA systems reduce vulnerability to ambushes

🔫 Infantry Support Role

? Superior firepower compared to traditional IFVs
? High speed and mobility for rapid repositioning
? Heavy armor ensures effective troop transport and fire support

  1. Cost and Production

Estimated Cost: 12 to 15 million Esterse per unit

Maintenance: Complex but optimized for quick field repairs

Estimated Production Capacity: 1,000 units per year at full industrial output

Cost-Effectiveness: More expensive than an IFV but more effective and versatile than an MBT

💡 Conclusion: A strategic investment, combining power, protection, and flexibility for the Erusean military.

  1. Where Does It Fit in the Erusean Army?

The TMS-4000 M2A5 represents a technological breakthrough for Erusea, which previously relied on foreign vehicles such as the Bradley or AMX-10RC. Now, Erusea has its own heavily armed armored vehicle, designed to surpass MBTs in certain roles.

📌 Status in the Armored Vehicle Hierarchy:

More mobile and flexible than an MBT

More resilient and powerful than an IFV

A new intermediate category, capable of operating independently or alongside heavy tanks

📌 A Symbol of Military and Industrial Pride
The TMS-4000 is more than just a vehicle—it represents Erusea’s military independence and technological dominance in the armored warfare domain.

📢 "The future of armored combat is here, and its name is Aardvark!"

@EternalDarkness @EternalDarkness Thank you very much yes this is my first account, your compliments are extremely enjoyable, I'm only 15 but you don't know how happy I am that my design pleases, the 1 is to turn on the interior light and the 2... I forgot 😅 I will take your advice into account and see what I can do but basically I wanted to make the turret automatically lock the targets but... I prefer the manual, You know this vehicle you can do what you want I just gave an idea it's up to you to do what you want thank you again I am so grateful 🙏🏻

This is an absolutely amazing build for a bronze level user. Some tweaks could improve its usability a bit, but nothing major. I'd suggest using roll for turning, since it doesn't appear to be used for anything else. That allows for much more accurate steering on PC, where we don't have those little thumb joysticks on screen to control yaw. I also suggest using input sum(Yaw) for the turret traverse. It's more intuitive.
I see the build has a lot of moving parts, proportion is good, and you even added cameras to everything important, which is something many experienced builders forget to do. Makes me wonder if you've had an account before of if this really is your first one.
Also, it would be a good idea to write which input and activation group does what so people can just jump in and use it without having to figure it out themselves. I still haven't figured out what group 1 and 2 do. It's best to write it in both the ingame instructions and the description.
There are also inputs that would allow Inferno missiles to pop up automatically when selected, and that would limit the top speed. I'll find them for you if you want.
