The L-120 was a military troop and cargo transport during WWII, and was put in to service in 1940. It mostly carried paratroopers and was good at doing it, but it was over shadowed by the C-47/DC-3. It was used until 1949 then it was decommissioned. A big reason why the L-120 wasn't rejected was because of its STOL capabilities.
