AEW-14 Void Eye (VR)
Void Eye is an early warning aircraft with a highly automatic pilot system
This plane looks huge, but in fact it is not as big as you imagine. It is just 25m in length and 32m in width. What is amazing about it, however, is that it has an advanced autopilot system. And that's why it takes all the activation groups to control the whole plane.
Something about the autopilot system
You can use the keypad in the cockpit to set the target altitude and heading angle for the plane. However, they won't be working until you enable AG5 and AG6. And if you don't activate the AG4, the function of lock heading and lock altitude can't be available.
The target altitude must be set between 200 and 15000 (because the plane cannot get to that height), and the target heading must be set between 0 and 360. If you set the heading angle to 360, it will be changed to 0 after you apply it.
Setting the altitude
The auto orient function doesn't use gyroscope, it uses the control surfaces on the plane. In this case, the plane may turn to an unexpected angle when the IAS is too low.
How to control:
AG1
Open doors
AG2
Active parachute
AG3
Enable high stability mode
AG4
Enable auto orient mode
AG5
Lock heading (AG4 required)
AG6
Lock Altitude (AG4 required)
AG7
Prevent crashing (AG4 required)
AG8
Lights
VTOL
Control flaps
It took me a long time to develop this plane. It may not be perfect, but I did my best. If you like it, please give me an upvote. If you find a bug, please contact me.
