Simple Plane Challenge Entry II: P-38 Reimagined
This was inspired by the P-83 Lightning, known for its iconic dual tails and single elevator. This design was ingenuous, pushing the center of lift far back, helpful for aircraft who's center of mass is near the rear of the fuselage, just like this one. 3 Medium Engines, 1 nose cone, and 1 modded fuel tank that you detach from, because previous versions that were filled to the brim with fuel still didn't last long. Pitch control is fantastic because of how far the elevator is, and banking is also very good. Average speed is around 700-750 and top speed ever recorded was 1100 from a nosedive from 70,000 feet, in which the plane was easilly able to survive pulling out from a drop that severe. Detach from 1 to start, ad VTOL down for airbrakes. Have fun!
