[PEA] Douglas C-47
Part-Efficient Aircrafts~!!
and... she's here!! the almighty C-47, workhorse of the US Army, say you give say you take it'll deliver!! ahuhihehehehihihi
i really like how this turned out.. well, ish anyway, we'll go a little by some and little.
let's start with the bad ones first... first of all, the nose, i swear it's tricky to do it without wasting many parts and keeping it's good shape, but I've opted for something like this eventually, shout out to @Pancelvonat for the inspiration of the nose, would've opted for a terrible one if not for his C-47.
Second of all, the cargo bay door, it's just... bad, courtesy of saving parts i can't really do anything besides that, but I'd say it's decent looking enough from afar.
third of all, the landing gear, it had spazzed out etc etc but well, the result is that i guess, or so it goes.
now what i really like about it... is the flight model, very attuned and well, tuned to realism-ish, very close performing to it's IRL counterpart, and all and all, just very good... hmhhmhh.
also 47 parts hehehe
The Douglas C-47 Skytrain or Dakota (RAF designation) is a military transport aircraft developed from the civilian Douglas DC-3 airliner. It was used extensively by the Allies during World War II. During the war the C-47 was used for troop transport, cargo, paratrooper, for towing gliders and military cargo parachute drops. The C-47 remained in front-line service with various military operators for many years. It was produced in approximately triple the numbers as the larger, much heavier payload Curtiss C-46 Commando, which filled a similar role for the U.S. military.
[ Controls ]
- Standard Aircraft Controls
- VTOL : Flaps
[ Guidelines ]
[ Taxiing ]
- 15% Power, Yaw to turn tailgear
[ Takeoff ]
- 100% Power, Takeoff w. Flaps around 350m+; Takeoff w.out Flaps around 480m+
[ Flight ]
- Standard Controls; flies like a cargo plane, don't expect.. well, don't dogfight.
[ Landing ]
- 25-35% Power, adjust Flaps accordingly, do not let it go below 170km/h(105mph) during approach; descend slowly, it has a hard gear(no suspension)
[ Armaments ]
- muhrica
[ Notes ]
- AC-47 coming soon affer deis; Spooky's my favourite gunship, windy cargo doors hittin strafin n' rainin 7.62mm to whom it concerns, it's just... kkkrrrrrrBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrkkkkkrrrrtttt....
Free to use!
if ya want to make an airbase, or maybe make an airwing for a carrier, or maybe to help battleships lead their shells, you can add and use any of my planes (unless you claim them as your own creation, i will damp your pillows if you do.)
Want More Part-Efficient Aircrafts?
come along come along! we(yes, we.) have a lot of low part, simple, and realistic performing aircrafts for all to use and fight against! light performance cost and AI-spawnable, there's no reason not to! we have the little beloved Fuchs, the graceful Muromets, and... a lot of obscure aircrafts... ANYWAY COME JOIN US!!
P.S. if you want to throw in an idea, maybe a plane, a ship, anything really(I even got an interdimensional interplanetary vacuum cleaner).. go do it, I'll pick it up if i find the idea interesting enough.

@Monarchii do you have the link to it
@dabestsock already did :3
Could someone make this Douglas AC-47 Spooky
@TheOfficalMarylander If he's sane, then I'm John Wick lmao
@Monarchii well, imo, i think he might be a bit touched in the head. I dont like thinking that people who act like this are sane
@TheOfficalMarylander props to him, I've never been so annoyed by someone, i sure as hell hope that burnt water-toaster get another ban, hell, forget giving my typical "have a good day", i hope that fuckface breaks a mirror so i could laugh at his unfortunate misery, hah!
@Monarchii yikes. I know this comment is warrented, but i have never seen you go off like that go you😭
@TheOfficalMarylander @LunarEclipseSP to shorten it, Project [PEA] is for everyone in the community, to go against that is to go against myself; it is distasteful yes, and i would kindly tell him.. actually fuck being kind, GO DIE IN A DITCH
now you can permalink this comment and send it to the stale ass bread dead husk of a decapitated parrot sonofabitch he is; report it all you want, FUCK HIM
@Monarchii Hang on, are yoy serious? Actually i am kinda mind of saying this because yeah, we have actually promised but, you're allowing him to use your property? I thought you have dumped him (or maybe it is sounds like "okay for the very last time")
Uh..., Atlas plagurized your build.
@Maskin12 fuck off.
@Monarchii yasssss
@WinsWings I'm a bit on both sides really; I want to build something like my He-100D or maybe something big like ships, but its something that my fixation is not allowing because i get disinterested building it the longer i spend time on it, and PEA... well, it's sort of a project that came out of it, it's basically a project that me and my friend thought of, basically doing planes with as low of a part as possible while retaining important key details(e.g. wingtips, tails, etc) while also tackling something that i feel I have less experience of which is making so called "Realistic-performing" planes which i had nearly zero experience of back then back when(e.g. nearly all my previous planes before the PEA, such as of course, the He-100.), the idea of it being "Free-to-Use" is also a matter of somewhat.. I guess a convenience(for anyone that needs it whether for a prop setting or just general use) and really, just sort of a convenient alternative to AI-spawned stuff if you want a change of pace since it adheres to MAPA's AI plane rules, a lot really, but mostly compiled words of all that above is.. i don't have enough fixation on something for the amount of work i wanna do to put it up to full quality, so i just make planes like this for now, hmh
@Monarchii I like your concept of "Part Efficient Aircraft" - well, I mostly build around 100 parts. I want to build many planes but it is too hard for me to focus only on a single plane for a long period
@AtlasAir747MyBeloved sure, why not
Ground units, supply airdrop is inbound. ETA 10 minutes.
Can I modify it into a DC-3?
@Mattheww now that, that is better. noted for future ideas; also reminds me of the Westland Wendover, check that out, pretty whimsy
@Monarchii westland lysander?
@Monarchii fw-189?
@Boeing727200F quite interesting, duly noted for future ideas.
@Mattheww too generic, i might consider it but it's certainly not coming anytime soon.
@GuardianAerospace chronic posting :)
@Majakalona one, ships are inherently large part count; two, making it smaller means that it's not faithful to real life: there's just a lot of problems with making large ships tbh... I do have the Yamato and her sisters but it's an old one.. and they're targets.
We need a PEA C-54
