Afterburner engine acceleration problems

I have made many after burner engines on simpleplanes (here are my 2 best ones) and I can never get any of my planes to accelerate at a realistic speed... Please could someone tell me how fix this issue (these are the engines used on most of my fighter jet - I use the larger one most but they all use the VTOL engine in the middle)

@GuyFolk ok
@BeeEngineer
Just Google it.
You need thrust force of the plane and you need to match the weight of the build to the real one.
@GuyFolk Please could give me an example of these properties required for a 4th gen fighter?
If you want to accelerate realistically you need physics.
So not only you need to make the thrust force right (F), you'll need to make the aircraft weight right too (m) to get the acceleration right (a).
Throttle>0.95
Idk how to solve this
@GuyFolk could you help me with this?
@ACEVIPER9710 I like the idea - but I have tried it before - I mean if in a dog fight with full afterburner on and you blead off all of your speed you will regain it too fast to be realistic
try to use the code in {engine} and add new thing and put throttleResponse
@Robomo00119 do you know how to fix this issue?
