The predecessor to the "P-47 Thunderbolt" is now faster, more agile, and has more ammo for your .50 cals! Produced from 1943-1947, over 6,210 aircraft were made between that time period. Designed to be a high altitude and interceptor, it can reach speeds up to 400-450mph in level flight. In a dive, you could reach speeds of 460-510mph, as fun as it may be DO NOT SURPASS 650mph as that is the limit when the wings will tear off and you'll reach g's of up to 20+.
