FMA I.Ae. 30 Pallavicino II
Fábrica Militar de Aviones, Instituto Aerotécnico 30, Pallavicino II
Why we turned a propeller escort fighter in a bomber? Have you gone mad Pallavicino?
Not at all Kurk, not at all…
History:
In 1947, the Special Projects Division of the Instituto Aerotécnico faced the development of a twin engine metallic fighter designed by the Italian engineer Cesare Pallavicino. He presented three designs, the twin engine propeller proper and two jet versions, one being a fighter like a Gloster Meteor and the other a jet-powered bomber.
The design was designated I.Ae. 30 and later baptized as Ñancu, as a Patagonian eaglet. At 9th of July in 1948 the first prototype started its tests under test pilot Edmundo Osvaldo Weiss, and due to its good performance later a test in Buenos Aires toom place before then-president Juan Domingo Perón, who was impressed by the design alongside the jet fighter I.Ae. 27 Pulqui I.
This plane it’s the jet-powered bomber who never made past the drawing board due to… some issues… but this doesn’t matter… yet.
The main differences with the propeller fighter its that the Pallavicino II it’s a two-crew (pilot and navigator) jet bomber with an internal bomb bay, greater range, and sturdier against threats. A nice dream who sadly never took of, until now

Parish Notice!!!
I’ve commited some mistakes in areas such as measures, thrust power and other variables due to conflicting sources, so in not a long time a proper redeemed version doing a proper replica with corrected sources! Be aware!
Despite the mistake it's a neat aircraft
@Catte thanks, but there are some issues with it
Great the model
