USS Boston (CAG-1)
USS BOSTON
The First Guided Missile Cruiser
Utilizing the new fuselage cutting feature, I have built what might be the first proper Flared Cruiser Bow! My choice of ship being the USS Boston, the very first Guided Missile Cruiser. The new fuselage cutting feature not only let me do this beautifully flared bow, but it saved me tons of parts doing the deck railing!
Special thanks to BangRou, XJ4B, and Snowflakes for FT help!
Originally a Baltimore Class heavy cruiser, the USS Boston was decommissioned in 1946. In the 1950's, a new project for Air Defense at sea was developed known as the Bumblebee project. After attacks by HS 293 and Fritz X bombs in world war 2, a need for mid range air defense between the short range of Anti-Aircraft guns and the Long Range of Aircraft. Three missiles were developed, the Talos, Terrier, and later Tartar. First to come into service would be the RIM-2 Terrier after testing aboard the USS Mississippi Battleship.
Recommissioned, the Baltimore class Cruisers Boston and later Canberra would be partially converted to carry the new missile. The first Guided Missile cruiser was thus developed.

Features
RIM-2 Terrier SAM/Anti-Ship Missiles
Multi-Purpose Missiles operated on auto-aiming rails which can engage both Air and Ground Targets. The Explosive power and Proximity detonation have been tweaked to prevent unrealistic damage to aircraft. They can also two shot one of the Beast's Destroyers!
8-inch/55-caliber gun
Main Guns, suited to Shore bombardment and Naval Combat and equipped with an easy, steady aiming WASD control.
Anti Aircraft Guns
5 and 3 inch guns equipped with proximity fuse rounds. They can be tricky to aim and hit targets with, but will be highly effective once you catch aircraft in their bursts.

@MintLynx If you don't mind, can you upload the separate files of your surface ship weapon systems?
The operating RIM-2 Terrior and other systems like M-1 Volna were very wonderful that I really tried to make them separated to use for my ships, But It didn't worked when I separated them...
So if you can, then would you upload them Separately? It would be highly appreciated if you do those works..
Looks like Des Moines.
@Mainthedevil Go ahead, I got it from EternalDarkness a while ago
