GI.M.59
The GI.M.59 is a Sub Sonic Ground Attack Aircraft Built in the late 50s. The full name of the aircraft is the Grévmil, meaning the Company, Mitashá, meaning attack, 59, meaning the year it was built. The Aircraft was built in mass numbers due to it’s great air to ground capabilites. This made the plane perfect for the 2 major wars it fought in. The GI.M.59 was also fitted for carrier use, allowing it to land virtually anywhere. In total there were 4 variants built. The base model. The GI.M.59M, which was a modernized version for modern combat use. The GI.M.59/61 which was the base model with two engines designed to go faster. And finally the GI.M.59K, the K meaning Kactró, or Frog, this was an experimental VTOL variant, of which only 5 were built.
