The Paternian Army's new Light Tank to replace the aging Scorpion M4A1, Scorpion M4A2 and the troublesome Sentinel M7. The Scorpion, while successful in airborne and reconnaissance operations, suffered heavy losses when forced to fight enemy tanks due to its poor armor.
The Sentinel was even more troublesome. While its gun-missile system was highly effective at its job, its electronics were too delicate, the armor was too thin, the gun's velocity was too low to hit anything moving beyond 500m, and the missile produced lots of smoke when fired, simultaneously revealing their position and obscuring the gunner's vision. In addition, neither vehicle was amphibious.
The General Burns sought to solve that. Named after the late General John Burns, the tank is designed to provide an airmobile and amphibious tank with sufficient survivability and firepower. To this end, the machine received the same effective armor as the Avenger MBT, which is significantly greater than the M4 or M7. It also received the Chamelion active camouflage system, designed to blend iin the surroundings, masking it from infrared, UV, and even some visible light detection systems, allowing it to blend wiht the environment as if it did not exist. The graphene layer prevents detection with radar. The machine was fitted with an improved 90mm Railgun M3A1, now equipped with effective HE rounds. This combination of stealth, mobility, armor, and firepower enabled it to be just as effective as an Ardent M6A3 or a Victoria M5A5 in open combat.
In combat, the crews loved the tank, appreciating the greater firepower and stealth, endearingly naming it "Zipp", after a fictional character known for his incredible speed. The Teutons, however, look at is more fearfully, referring to it as "Eisen-Geist" or "Stiller Tod" (Iron Ghost and Silent Death, respectively) due to the machine's lethality and stealthy nature. Often, Teuton forces are aware of its presence only when it fires its main gun, and even then cannot reliably ascertain its location.

@PINK lol
Auto Correct!!!!!@Pilotmario
I think it's "Pyonyang". @PINK
Yep. However, it was also know as the Cheetah of Pion-Yang. It could
literally zip into a new position before they could track them with the guns of their tanks. @Pilotmario
@PINK All they know is that there's something stealthy that's shooting at them.
The TAL-1 also has that name.
This is down to the fact that the enemy doesn't know which is shooting them.
@Pilotmario
@GoldenEagle Sure!
@Pilotmario nice! And a fun note, I have a light tank named the 'Scorpion', do you want to see it?
@GoldenEagle The Iron Ghost of Korea.
@Pilotmario Okay.
See how others made their machines. @EclipseRed
Any Tips on making tanks?
Probably the M6 series for me. Best combination of cost, firepower, reliability, armor, and mobility on the battlefield. The only issue, compared to your tanks, is its larger profile. @PINK
We very much enjoy the MBT-5, however, other tanks and vehicles can preform the same tasks just as efficiently . . . I don't know. [APC-2+IRLMs is my second favorite vehicle in the battle field. @Pilotmario
@Pilotmario Electromagnetic Small arms?! Count me In!
@PINK What do you consider the best tank in the battlefield?
As we said, whoever does a Han Solo wins the duel. @PINK
We do the same thing. @Pilotmario
If it can see or hear it.
No seriously, we use rubber-fabric tracks and rubber engine mounts, similar to those used on submarines. Interior is also lined with acoustic absorbent foam in order to reduce acoustic signature. @PINK
Teh TDs are going to have a hay day!!!@Pilotmario @Mudkip
We use 12 band radar systems, linked to trig computers, to direct SAMs in most cases. @Pilotmario
AAANNDDDDD you lost the ability to detect anything concealed beyond visual countermeasures such as ghillie and DDPAT. @Mudkip
@Pilotmario The truth is out there.
Better make something up that follows the laws of logic and physics or you will automatically admit your inability to detect stealth aircraft. @Mudkip
@Pilotmario It's classified.
