The CASA C-212 Aviocar is a medium-sized civilian passenger aircraft (airliner) with a turboprop engine designed and manufactured in Spain for civil and military use. This type of aircraft has also been produced in Indonesia under license by PT. Indonesian Aerospace. Even in January 2008, EADS CASA decided to move all C-212 production facilities to PT. Indonesian Aerospace in Bandung.[1] PT. Dirgantara Indonesia is the only aircraft company that has a license to manufacture this type of aircraft outside the main manufacturer.
