Updated version of my Gee Bee. More thrust added.
This is the Gee Bee Model R. It is a plane that looks like it definitely shouldn't fly, but it can. It can fly, but it is hard to operate. Few people today can do this. It was a racing aircraft designed and built by Granville Brothers Aircraft in Springfield, Massachusetts. The name Gee Bee stands for Granville Brothers.
