FX-48 Python

306 EthanolAerospace  2.2 years ago

After the War in Ukraine fizzled out with Putin's surrender in 2027, Eastern Europe was in desperate need for a new 5th-generation multi-role fighter to counter both external and internal threats. Enter the FX-48. Produced by Lockheed Martin in a collaboration with General Dynamics, the Python combines the manueverability of the F-16 with the intuity of the F-35. While a VTOL variant has yet to be released, the FX-48 is still incredibly fast, with a top speed of 1,672 MPH. Commonly equipped with Air-to-Air missles, rocket pods, bombs, and AG missles, the Python's prototypes were incredibly succsessful. The FX-48 is now in full production, and the USAF has signed a contract with the E.U. to supply these aircraft to many European militaries. (You kind of need to pull the trims all the way back for this thing to fly well. AG1 for canopy, AG2 for lights, AG3 for double arresting hook. Have fun!)
