EE MC Mk II "Poghopper"
The Microcopter Mk II, affectionally known as "Poghopper" is Epic Engineering's entry for the Helicopter Build Competition by KettleKip.
A total redesign of one of our first attempts of helicopter design. We manage to retain the diminuitive and practical size of the vehicle by foregoing a standard rotor layout and opting for a contrarotating set of rotors at the centre of mass.
Although this is a vehicle for the civillian market, we advise only experienced helicopter pilots to take this one for a spin. Once you have mastered it, however, the vehicle serves as a modular platform in a compact package, ideal for tasks from postal service to search and rescue, from police surveillance to news broadcasting.
AG1: External Lights
AG2: Landing Light
AG8: Hover Mode
