V-22 Osprey
NOTE: This airplane is not working on v1.4! Wait for update please!
Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is American tilt-rotor aircraft with VTOL and STOL capability. It has the functionality of helicopter and turboplop aircraft.
All designs and functions were made without any XML editing!
It has "Helicopter Mode" and "Fixed-Wing Mode", so it will be difficult to get used to control this airplane.
[Controls]
You can Roll Pitch and Yaw.
Helicopter Mode: VTOL 0%-25% with AG8 enabled.
Fixed-Wing Mode: VTOL 50-100% with AG8 disabled.
AG1 and brake to enable parking brake.
AG2 and brake to open rear hatch.
[How to Fly]
*Vertical Takeoff: simply turn on throttle to 100% in helicopter mode!
*Short Takeoff: VTOL 50% and Throttle 70% in fixed-wing mode.
*Helicopter => Fixed-Wing (DIFFICULT): Slowly pull up VTOL slider to 50% and go faster than 160 mph. Then disable AG8 while not touching any controll.
*Fixed-Wing => Helicopter: VTOL 0-25%, enable AG8, and keep Throttle 30-50% until it goes slower than 100 mph.
*Cruising: VTOL 80-100% and throttle 100%. Around 10000 ft is a good altitude.
*Short Landing: VTOL 25-50% and Throttle 40-70% in fixed-wing mode.
*Vertical Landing: VTOL 0-10% and Throttle 50-70% in helicoter mode.
You have to think about "translational lift" and "dissymmetry of lift" to control well in helicopter mode!
You'll need some practice to get used to, but this aircraft can be used in various situations. Try Landing on USS Beast!
Have fun!

Missed the "immediately faceplant into the water" step my bad
@Jimouz2 yes because this account is not active anymore so they don't respond and I do it
Hi can i use this plane as an basis for a helicopter?
I tried making this aircraft before but failed miserably. Great job!
i don't think people realize what an accomplishment it is to have made this aircraft in simpleplanes....extremely impressed - good job.
wo
Lol that's cool!@Dipper
Can you make the RAH-55 Commanche please?
Looks great, just too difficult to fly :/
Very cool!!
@GearGuy123 I searched the word "cod warbird" on google and found some image of SimplePlanes :)
