History

Year 1941 as the war in North Africa is still goin on the"GroBdeutschland"
felt the need for a light and agile tank that could outrun any allied tank of that time. The first prototype roll off from production line in march 1942 and officially adapted into service in June 1942 and made by krupp and later Henschel & Sons. It was first deployed in Tunisia and saw quiet success, the following year 700 tanks were produced. The tank consist of a Commander, gunner, technician and a reloader, the tank a used 7.5 cm KwK 40 main gun. It also proved to be able to defeat a t-34 tank. By the end of ww-2 the company produced 2034 tanks. After the war was ended some country like: Czechoslovakia, Tunisia, Finland, Poland and Turkey kept it in service till 1951 and only 100 worthy example remain to this day.
