Overview: the D300 "Chainsaw" is the prototype for the D300 series of fighter-bomber aircraft. It features the unique PE-5-DF ducted fan engine, giving it an advantage in speed and acceleration over other single-engine propeller fighters of the WW2 and post-WW2 era. The engine also gives it the ability to better maintain the aircraft's airspeed during sharp turns. The aircraft receives its nickname "Chainsaw" from the loud buzzing noise that the engine generates.

The aircraft is most efficient at 50% power or below. Start your landing approach early to slow down the aircraft. Retract flaps immediately after takeoff to maintain downward pitch control.

@CalebRepublic That's one way of doing it. Personally though, I prefer XML modifying the size of the stock jet engines, and putting them in a fuselage shell.
The sound, prop-blur effect, and RPM limitations of using propellers as jets is rather annoying.
But it works fine as a ducted-fan engine in this scenario, and it can be used in the WW2 challenges and propeller-only races.
Oooooh that is how people made custom jet engines, by xml editing the propeller count, that is really cool
