Viper A-8C Hawk II
A two-seat variant of the successful A-8B attack aircraft, the A-8C is a light attack/trainer aircraft. There is also the OA-8C, EA-8C, RA-8C and the TA-8C. However, the only difference between them is what role it is currently employed as and their avionics fitting. The EA-8C is employed as the SEAD asset for A-8 squadrons and is equipped with jammers and anti-radiation missiles, the OA-8C is employed as forward air controllers for air strikes, the RA-8C is employed as the tactical reconnaissance asset for identifying targets as well as damage assessment. The TA-8C is employed as the advanced trainer of the Paternian Air Force. These distinctions are necessary as commanders are unwilling to employ training aircraft for combat missions, even if said aircraft is essentially the same as combat aircraft. Even fictional air forces in SimplePlanes has bureacracy.

lol @Viper28
@ChiChiWerx We would accept your offer if it was not for the advanced stage of development of our pods designed for this task. But do continue development of said pods on your part. Perhaps you'll find a buyer, or an export customer of the type may find them useful.
Good to hear @Treadmill103
Can ChiChiWerx submit a proposal to the Paternian AF to build a TARP (Tactical Air Reconnaissance Pod) for the A-8C? We can deliver a proposal for 50 pods at $5M Paternian dollars a copy ($250M total). The advantage to the PAF is the ability to dual role it's A-8Cs and avoid the cost of procuring a dedicated reconnaissance platform 😎.
