@Sinnacraft A copied 50 seater can carry 90 seats now, nice.
@TheMegaMauster J-20 is ctrl+v? very droll mate.
@SyntheticL Hmm
@asteroidbook345 China did made MD-82s actrually in the past btw
Some of the ARJ's aerodynamic designs might come from experiences building MD-82.
@TheMegaMauster well they done pretty reverse engineering in the past, but they dont do that now.
Forget about J-16 pls btw
带狙佬(⊙o⊙)!
@TheMegaMauster It's the ARJ-21, and it looks like a combo between an MD-80 and a CRJ-700. It's not reverse engineered.
I think only for the name.
They also kinda did the same with the MD-80, they reverse engineered it and called it the ARJ-15 I think.@asteroidbook345
@TheMegaMauster That's partly because they had an alliance with Stalin, but when he died Khrushchev undid it and they had to make do with what they already had, which was a bunch of MiG-15s, 19s, and a few MiG-21s with limited technical documents.
Chinese military seems to have a bit of an obsession with reverse engineering ngl.@asteroidbook345
@TheMegaMauster Yeah just a Chinese MiG-21 with a different wing. They also fixed 249 inherent problems with the MiG-21 when they reverse engineered it.
Very nice jet .
nb!
@TheMegaMauster It's just the Chinese Mig-21...
Ngl the fuselage looks like the SU-17/SU-7.
