This weapon has been in development for a while! This SMG was designed from the group-up for YTech’s urban warfare special operatives. The first formal entry in YTech’s line of weapons specifically tailored for Urban Reconnaissance/Surveillance/Assault (URSA), it is a versatile, compact, and powerful weapon system fit for a variety of situations.

The most identifiable feature of the Tatsumaki is its top-mounted 25 round magazine (chambered in 9mm). Obviously, this eliminates a lot of space for a top rail, so I settled for a pair of adequate tritium iron sights. I attached an ACE stock to my universal M4 stock adaptor, Mystic X suppressor to the barrel, and Yari Prismatic Tactical Laser to the right side rail.

Handling and grip ergonomics were a big consideration with this build. I used the FN P90 and the Magpul PDR as references. All things considered, the grips are far enough apart to be comfortable for most operators, and the front grip is set at a comfortable angle such that it can be utilized as an AFG or a VFG. If this were a real firearm, I think it would fall into a nice little niche between the MP5 and the P90.
